Program Administration

Versar works closely with the customer team to develop a custom Project Management Plan for each project. This planning process maps the entire project and identifies critical components from concept to completion. As the customer’s representative, we quantify the programmatic needs of each project and develop the appropriate tracking and control tools necessary to ensure an on program, on schedule, and on budget delivery.

Our communication and reporting plans include documents and presentations for the customer team to satisfy all necessary management criteria, including project milestones, solicitation scoring criteria, earned value management [EVM] metrics, major project accomplishments, project “look aheads”, WBS criteria, Critical Path Method [CPM] scheduling updates, contingency dollar tracking, and risks and opportunities summaries.

Versar is unique in that the diversity of the management staff allows for extensive knowledge of all phases of a construction project. Most members of our project management staff have worked for architects, engineers, contractors, and developers during their careers. Our combined staff experience results in well-reasoned and efficient management practices ranging from project planning and pro-forma development to build-to-suit, capital improvements, tenant renovation, historic restoration, and complex relocation projects.
